현대사회는 과학기술 문명에 대한 맹신과 물질만능의 가치관이 지배하고 있는 비인간화로 요약된다. 현대 사회의 이러한 제 모순을 극복하기 위해 동아시아 유학 고전에 나타난 인간 중심적 가치관을 제시하고, 이를 통해 동양적 사유가 인간과 우주와의 조화를 꾀하는 철학체계임을 탐구해본다.
